The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree is a 10" × 10" original dimensional impasto acrylic and gold leaf painting on birch by Suzanne DeSoleil. Two luminous aspen trunks rise against a rich teal landscape, with deeply textured bark and cascading gold leaves that shift as the light changes.

The composition celebrates generosity, endurance, and the abundance held in the natural world. Its sculptural surface gives the trees a tangible presence, while the gold leaf brings warmth and movement to this small-format contemporary tree painting.
